The Midland Youth Hostel 1 is very easy and fast to reach, and within 10 minutes walking distance from our place, you can find supermarkets, bistros and restaurants, bars and clubs (we are located in the bar/club zone of Bucharest), money exchange houses, travel agencies, train tickets agencies, banks, to say nothing of one of the oldest and most beautiful parks in Bucharest, the Cismigiu Park, which is only 1 minute away from our hostel.
Staying here, you will be maximum 10 minutes away from the main points of interest of the capital: the famous "House of People" (now called "The Palace of the Parliament"), Vlad Tepes' old palace, the National Theatre, the Opera house, the University, etc.
"The Midland Youth Hostel 1" sleeps 22 in 2 mixed dorms. It is composed of the reception area, 1 common area and 2 dorms. The kitchen/common area is complete with cooker range, toaster, fridge, microwave oven, washing machine and dryer, and also a TV and a home cinema system. There is air conditioning in all rooms. Internet is also free of charge, and breakfast is included.
We also have a book exchange service - leave one, take one. In the reception area there is a basket with common goods where you can usually find toilettries, bus and metro tickets etc.
There are 2 showers, 2 toilets and 2 sinks in the bathroom.
Smoking is allowed only in the kicthen/ common area.
